Here’s the simple version of what we do: AARP Mahjongg is a free, no-fuss place to play classic mahjongg online. No downloads, no subscriptions, no account required. You open the browser, you play. That’s the whole deal.
We built it that way on purpose. Mahjongg is one of the oldest tile games in the world, and it shouldn’t require a tutorial just to get started. So we kept everything clean and straightforward — tiles you can actually read, layouts that don’t get in your way, and gameplay that just works.
The people who play here are pretty different from each other. Some come every morning like clockwork, coffee in hand, as part of a routine that’s theirs and nobody else’s. Others pull it up with a family member, share the screen, argue about which tile to pick next. Some are just passing through and end up staying longer than they planned. All of that is fine with us.
We’ve been listening to players for years, and it shows — at least we hope it does. Every small improvement to the site came from someone saying “it would be better if…” and us actually paying attention.
